Shipping policy

This policy explains how delivery works for orders placed through www.helloweirdough.in. Product-specific lead times, cutoffs and available dates shown on the relevant product page form part of this policy.
MUMBAI DELIVERY
Fresh bakery products, cakes, pizzas, flowers and hampers marked for Mumbai delivery are available only within eligible Mumbai delivery areas and PIN codes accepted at checkout.
Selecting “Mumbai” on the storefront does not itself confirm that an address is eligible. The customer’s complete delivery address and PIN code must be accepted at checkout.
Local-delivery charges are calculated according to the delivery area, distance, order value or rate displayed at checkout.
Any free-delivery threshold advertised on the website applies only where expressly stated and may depend on the eligible delivery area and qualifying order value.
PAN-INDIA DELIVERY
Only products expressly marked as eligible for Pan-India delivery can be sent outside Mumbai.
Pan-India orders are dispatched through a third-party courier, currently including Blue Dart where serviceable. Fresh cakes, pizzas, flowers, Mumbai-only hampers and other locally restricted products cannot be sent through Pan-India courier services.
Courier availability, delivery charges and estimated transit times depend on the destination PIN code and will be displayed or confirmed before dispatch. Courier transit estimates are not guaranteed delivery appointments.
SELECTED DATES, LEAD TIMES AND CUTOFFS
A selected delivery date is mandatory where shown and remains subject to availability.
Some products require:
• Next-day preparation
• A 48-hour preorder
• Another stated preparation period
• Delivery only on specified days
• A specified delivery time slot
• Ordering before a same-day or next-day cutoff
The requirements shown on the relevant product page apply to that product. Orders placed after the applicable cutoff will be eligible only for the next available delivery date.
MULTIPLE DELIVERY DATES
Where one order contains products selected for different delivery dates, the products may require separate deliveries.
We may contact you to confirm the delivery arrangement and whether an additional delivery charge applies. We will not add an unapproved charge after payment.
DELIVERY TIMING
We make reasonable efforts to deliver during the selected slot or on the selected date. Traffic, weather, access restrictions, courier disruption, vehicle issues and circumstances beyond our reasonable control can cause delays.
Unless expressly guaranteed in writing, a selected date or delivery slot is an estimate and not a guarantee of delivery at an exact minute.
RECEIVING AN ORDER
Please provide:
• A complete and accurate delivery address
• The correct PIN code
• A useful landmark where applicable
• A reachable telephone number
• Accurate recipient details for gifts
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the recipient or another authorised person is available to receive the order.
For gift orders, please confirm the recipient’s availability before selecting the delivery date.
Risk of deterioration increases if a perishable order cannot be handed over promptly. Where safe and authorised, an order may be left with building reception, security personnel or another person at the delivery address. Once accepted by such a person, the order will be treated as delivered.
FAILED DELIVERY
If delivery cannot be completed because the recipient is unavailable, the address is incorrect, access is denied or the recipient cannot be contacted, additional redelivery or fresh-production charges may apply after we obtain your agreement.
DELAYS, DAMAGE AND MISSING ITEMS
If Weirdough cannot fulfil an order on the confirmed date for a reason attributable to us, we will contact you to arrange an appropriate remedy. This may include rescheduling, replacement, store credit or a refund.
Visible damage, an incorrect item or a missing item must be reported immediately on delivery. Please provide photographs and the order number.
